Two-week research and creation seminar with the Art by Translation participants
TALM Angers, Angers November 5-21, 2018
During this two-week seminar, the Art by Translation participants produced their works for the exhibition, The Tyranny of Distance, that was conceived collectively during the previous seminar in Los Angeles at the FLAX House. They also publicly presented their practices and developed workshops with TALM Angers students. During the evening of performances organized in the context of the exhibition, several of them presented new works that simultaneously took place in Angers and Los Angeles. This seminar was also the occasion to reflect on the theoretical issues raised by The Tyranny of Distance project and to continue preparing The House of Dust exhbition that happening at the MAK Center for Art and Architecture from February to May 2019.
