Two-week research and creation seminar with the Art by Translation participants

During this two-week seminar, the Art by Translation participants produced their works for the exhibition, Shelter or Playground: The House of Dust at the Schindler House, that was conceived collectively during the previous seminars in Los Angeles and in Angers. During the weekend of performances organized in the context of the exhibition, several of them presented new works that explored the relationships between performance and architecture. This seminar was also the occasion to take several field trips in the Los Angeles area and to the Californian desert as well as to reflect on the theoretical issues raised by the exhibition.
