A HOUSE OF TIN
WHEREVER YOU FIND IT
USING ELECTRICITY
INHABITED BY THOSE WHO INVITE OTHERS

Developed by curator Daniela Silvestrin, this project takes the form of an internet site inspired by Alison Knowles’s collaborations, for example with the musician Max Neuhaus, who created a sound piece for The House of Dust, or with other artists, students, or neighbours whom she invited to donate “found objects” to be affixed to the surface of the house. Whereveryoufindit.net is conceived as a virtual architecture welcoming different documents and sound pieces to be “fixed to its surface.” It presents new sound pieces commissioned by Silvestrin, and “found objects,” proposed by the invited artists, curators, and theoreticians also involved in the exhibition. In the spirit of Fluxus, this website is a collaborative space without a delineated structure or limits, expected to develop over the course of the exhibition. A project developed within the Art by Translation program.
