This exhibition retraces the history of The House of Dust, presenting a real time version of the computer-generated poem, and invites 19 artists to interpret the quatrains, responding to the generative aspect of the project. Emancipated from rigid structures, these interpretations in different media propose many ways of inhabiting language and the world. By introducing mobility and organicity, they contest the determinism of technology.

The works become open stages for invitations and improvisations, the creation of communities in the initial spirit of Alison Knowles and the Cneai. A rich program of artistic and discursive events, HABITER L’EXPOSITION transforms the exhibition into a veritable stage, an ecosystem for creation.
